We carry out a variety of environmental consultancy work. AM Fermino has carried out environmental impact assessments of various projects with more emphasis on mining activities and other natural resources.

We do wildlife capture work in residences and especially in areas of vegetation suppression to rid the environment and reduce the impact of vegetation suppression on wildlife.

The company has a large team of professionals with extensive experience capturing and relocating venomous animals and others.

For several years AM Fermino has worked with mining companies that have carried out massive deforestation with the use of heavy machinery in the scaring or capture and relocation of animals and marking of trees of historical and cultural value for their preservation, thus contributing to the reduction of impacts on flora and wildlife.

In this area, the company has also captured stray dogs in condominiums and residences to protect human health.

With a team of capable senior technicians, coordinated by a Forest Engineer authorised to carry out forest inventories, AM Fermino has carried out forest inventories and management plans for areas under simple licences and forestry concessions.

AM Fermino’s experience includes preparing faunal management plans, especially for wildlife farms on land and water (crocodile breeding and fattening projects).

AM Fermino has been a strong partner of the large mining companies in Tete Province to recover degraded areas.

The company has been involved for over 14 years in reclamation work in borrow pits and coal mining areas, planting trees and grasses of different species.

AM Fermino’s experience in this area includes the collection of tree and grass seeds their processing and application in flat and sloping degraded areas.

AM Fermino is one of the few companies with technicians knowledgeable using biodegradable blankets to reclamation mine tailings slopes.

AM Fermino has a team of technicians experienced in producing and managing forest nurseries for native, ornamental, exotic and fruit trees of various species.

The experience of AM Fermino’s technicians includes grafting various fruit trees. The company has been working for over 14 years on projects to produce seedlings for use in reforestation work and fruit production. It has its main nursery in Caunje, in the District of Moatize, about 10 km from Tete City.
